We contribute to society by creating instruments and products that integrate Optics, Electronics, Mechanics, and software as a System. Our company name “OEM SYSTEMS” strongly reflects this desire.

Our engineers are well versed in the life sciences and in vitro diagnostics fields and develop products that meet our customers’ requests. Then, in our own factories, which are committed to “Made in Japan,” skilled workers and production engineers carefully manufacture those products. We deliver these high-quality products, which have passed quality tests, to customers all over the world, including Japan, North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, and have earned the trust of many people.

We will continue to develop and manufacture equipment that contributes to society and provide products that satisfy our customers, using our comprehensive technical capabilities in planning, development, manufacturing, and quality control.

Our History

  • 1978.01

    OEM Systems Co., Ltd. was established in Nagaokakyo, Kyoto Prefecture, after separating from Sanki Engineering Co., Ltd., with an initial capital of ¥3 million.
    Tsutomu Sugahara was appointed President & CEO.

  • 1979.04

    Capital increased to ¥9 million.

  • 1979.05

    Capital increased to ¥20 million.

  • 1980.03

    Relocated the business office to Uji, Kyoto.
    Entered the industrial automation sector.
    Began manufacturing leak testing equipment.

  • 1983.03

    Capital increased to ¥30 million.

  • 1985.03

    Expanded the manufacturing facility.

  • 1985.07

    Capital increased to ¥62.5 million.

  • 1986.04

    Relocated to the current headquarters.
