This example is a "microplate absorption spectrophotometer" that can measure at any wavelength between 200nm and 1000nm and is compatible with 6, 12, 24, 48, 96 well, 384, and 1536 well microplates .
By narrowing the beam used for measurement, it is possible to read 1536-well plates.
In addition, by moving the XY drive mechanism in small increments, it is possible to scan the entire plate and capture the absorbance as an image.
It also has plate mixing and heating functions.
